A varied collection of vintage toys and nursery rhyme themed ephemera. The lot includes seven printed cards featuring classic nursery rhymes with illustrative scenes. Identified titles include Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater, Little Jack Horner, Pussy-cat Pussy-cat Where Have You Been, This Little Pig Goes to Market, Goosey Goosey Gander, and There Was a Piper Had a Cow. One card is titled Nurseries and bears the printed mark Thos Nelson & Sons New York. The toy selection features a wooden yo-yo with black and red painted sections, marked in gold-tone lettering Original Junior Yo Yo Genuine with a Top brand logo. Also included is a skittles set comprising three turned-wood bowling pins in red and green and one red-painted wooden ball. A game of jacks includes eleven cast metal jacks and a red rubber ball. Animal figures include a large black-and-white moulded cow, a smaller brown figure, and a miniature dog figurine in a plastic bag. The lot also contains a house-shaped tinplate box, a circular orange plastic dexterity puzzle with a cowboy face, two additional wooden balls in green and weathered red, and a small blue plastic character figure. Dimensions (measured from visible tape measure): Individual cards approx. H 10 cm x W 7.5 cm Total display width approx. 32 cm. Condition: The collection is in played-with condition. The wooden skittles and balls show significant paint loss and surface abrasions. The cast metal jacks and tinplate box exhibit overall surface oxidation and rust. Printed cards show age-related toning, minor staining, and edge wear. Plastic figures and the dexterity puzzle display minor surface marking and scuffs.
