A trio of winter landscape paintings by Joy Howe, depicting a frozen river with snowy banks, a sunset over a still lake, and a snow-filled track through a forest. Executed in a realistic style, the works likely employ acrylic or gouache on paper. Each of the three images is signed J Howe to the lower margin. The collection is displayed vertically within a single grey-green triple-aperture mat and a black frame. The reverse of the frame features a printed label identifying the middle work as A Winter's Sunset by Joy Howe, dated 2009. A framing label from the Framing & Art Centre in St. Catharines, Ontario, is also present on the verso, accompanied by a seal dated May 2011. Dimensions: approx. 21 3/8 x 11 3/8 in. Condition: The lot is in good overall condition. The three paintings appear well-preserved behind glass with no evidence of foxing, staining, or fading. The matting and frame show only minor signs of handling and light surface wear.
