This offset lithograph after an original watercolor by Canadian artist Trisha Romance, titled The Bath, portrays a late 19th-century domestic scene. The composition features a woman at a wood-burning cookstove, a young child in a washbasin, and another child by a window. The print is plate-signed and dated T. Romance 81 in the lower right corner. Visual inspection reveals a mechanical halftone dot pattern consistent with an offset lithographic reproduction. The artwork is housed in a stained oak wood frame with a cream-colored mat and a black inner bevel. The reverse of the frame displays a red manufacturer's stamp for Something Different Oak & Art Ltd. of Edmonton, Alberta. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): Frame approx. H 13 1/4 in x W 16 1/2 in. Condition: Several small spots of foxing are present on the matting and near the lower edge of the print. The oak frame shows minor surface scuffs and light wear to the corners. The piece remains in stable condition.
