This East German (DDR) Volkspolizei or police officer parade brocade belt features a gilded rectangular buckle centered by an applied state emblem within a wreath of wheat and a five-pointed star. The woven brocade strap displays traditional yellow/gold brocade face with red and green accent stripes, lined on the reverse with soft tan suede leather and handwritten size marking "125 cm". The gilded buckle retains strong luster with light surface scuffs and minor contact wear on the reverse catch hook. The woven brocade belt and suede backing remain clean and supple with minimal edge fraying. PM
