This set comprises seven well-preserved Winterhilfswerk (WHW) donation tokens from the 1939–1940 winter campaign, part of the notable Sternbilder (Constellation) series. Each piece is crafted in unglazed terra cotta and depicts a different constellation: Adler, Grosser Bär, Kassiopeia, Drache, Schwan, Pegasus, and Leier. The tokens display high-relief sculpting with hand-painted yellow stars that mark the constellation patterns. Six tokens have their original period string hangers, while the "Leier" token retains a functional metal pin-back. The painted detailing on each remains bright and clear. Badges measure 1 inches in height and 1/2 - 1 inches in width. These tokens were distributed in exchange for donations to the WWII German national winter relief fund.
