This lot consists of five identical injection-molded cream plastic donation badges produced for the Winterhilfswerk (WHW) street collections during the Third Reich era. Specifically issued for the Mutter und Kind (Mother and Child) welfare program campaigns, the front of each rectangular badge features a raised relief depiction of a mother sitting beside a cradled infant. The lower border is embossed with the slogan "Kämpft gegen die Not / Schützt Mutter u. Kind" (Fight Against Distress / Protect Mother and Child). The reverse sides are embossed with the manufacturer location "Knopfstadt Schmölln Thür." (The Button Town of Schmölln, Thuringia). Four of the pieces retain their horizontal safety pin mechanisms, while one piece is missing its pin assembly, leaving only the central metal rivet. The plastic surfaces display minor edge wear, localized brown staining, and age-related discoloration. Each badge measures L. 1" x W. 1". SW
