Eight hand-painted ceramic donation badges from the Winterhilfswerk (WHW), issued during the Third Reich (1933-1945), representing German folklore and traditional vocations including a baker, fisherman, princess, and other figures. Each features distinctive attire and accessories corresponding to regional or occupational identities. The reverse shows original pinback hardware, with a few missing hardware; metal components display oxidation and minor paint chipping is present. Incised numbers '33' and '7' are visible on the princess figure. The measurements for height range from 1.5" to 1.75". These pins, circulated as street donation tokens, played a role in fundraising for the national winter relief effort. SW
