(2) This group consists of two uniform sleeve chevrons intended for non-commissioned officer ranks within the German Customs Service (Zollverwaltung) during the Third Reich era. Each rank insignia features a single chevron woven from bright yellow-gold tress with an interwoven central dark green stripe. The embroidered ribbon is closely trimmed along its V-shaped outline and finished with a dark green border piping. The reverse sides show period thread detailing along with folded edges where the insignia was prepared for garment mounting. The lot displays light age-appropriate wear, including minor thread fraying at the upper cut ends, loose stitch points, and light lint accumulation from storage. Each individual chevron measures 3 inches across the widest point by 3 inches in vertical height. SW
