This collection contains two pairs of German Forestry Service (Forstdienst) shoulder boards dating from the Third Reich era. The left pair features interwoven braided green cords over dark forest-green velvet backings, designating a senior forestry official rank. The right pair features parallel silver aluminum braid with central green cord rows mounted on forest-green velvet backings with stitched buttonholes. Each board measures 4.25 x 1.45 inches. The reverse sides show velvet-wrapped undersides along with light storage dust, thread fraying along the base edges, and mild oxidation to the cord trim. OT
