This group consists of four circular rank insignia patches designed for uniform sleeve attachment during the Third Reich era. Each patch features a machine-embroidered silver-grey rayon star or rank pip centrally stitched onto a tan herringbone twill (HBT) cotton base. The reverse side of each insignia is finished with a white cheesecloth backing panel and bordered by khaki-tan cotton reinforcing thread. Three of the backing panels are stamped with a blue manufacturer or inspector ink mark reading "T.& H." The patches exhibit natural age-toning, mild localized yellow staining, and minor edge fraying from storage. Each circular insignia measures 2.5" in diameter. SW
