Three late Cold War East German Grenztruppen der DDR officer visor caps constructed of blue-gray uniform cloth with green branch piping. Each is fitted with a silver braided officer cord, black lacquered visor, and silver oak-leaf wreath surrounding the red-and-gold DDR state emblem. Gray lined interiors with gray synthetic sweatbands. Two caps are marked size 58 and one is marked size 56. All are stamped "1856 D," with date code “D” indicating 1990, the final year of the German Democratic Republic. Very good overall condition with light storage wear and minor surface marks to the visors. GE
