Pair of late Cold War East German Transportpolizei officer visor caps. Constructed of blue-gray wool with green piping, black velvet center bands, black lacquered visors, silver braided officer cords, and silver oak-leaf wreath insignia surrounding red-and-gold DDR state emblem cockades. Gray lined interiors with clear diamond-shaped celluloid sweatshields and gray vinyl sweatbands. Both are marked size 56, manufacturer code 1856 for VEB Perfekt Berlin, and date code D for 1990. Excellent overall condition with minimal age-related wear. GE
