Cold War-era West German federal civil defense field cap constructed of gray wool with a short visor and fold-down ear and neck flap secured by two pebbled metal buttons. Gray fabric interior with synthetic sweatband and clear celluloid maker shield. Marked Albert Kempf K.G., Mützenfabrik, Wuppertal-Vohwinkel, size 57, with "20/66 BUND ZS" procurement marking. Very good overall condition with minimal age-related wear. GE
