This item is a pair of WWII German civilian/paramilitary style corduroy riding breeches (Reithose / Jodhpurs) constructed from ribbed olive-tan cotton corduroy fabric. The trousers feature flared thigh cuts, a multi-button fly with top metal hook-and-eye closure, side slash pockets, a front watch pocket, and buttoned calf adjustments. A notable structural modification is present along the rear seat, where a large V-shaped panel of light tan canvas cloth has been let in to expand the waist and seat sizing. Measurements yield a 34" waist (as modified) and a 24" inseam (standard cropped length for high riding boots). The corduroy fabric exhibits generalized wear, fading, surface fraying at pocket entry points, and a crude thread repair covering a small tear on the right knee area. PM
