This complete uniform ensemble comprises a WWII U.S. Army Enlisted Field Jacket ("Ike" jacket), tan cotton khaki service trousers, a tan cotton dress shirt, and a matching necktie. The wool-serge Ike jacket features a covered front button placket, waist adjustment side buckles, shoulder epaulets, and pleated breast pockets with scalloped flaps. A gold-embroidered "Ruptured Duck" Honorable Discharge insignia patch on an olive drab diamond backing is attached above the right chest pocket. The interior neck lining retains a size 38R tag alongside faint ink laundry stamps (P 1229 and 2415), while an original specification tag in the pocket identifies it as a April 16, 1945 contract piece by Barrister Clothing Co. for the Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot. The tan dress shirt features two chest pockets and is paired with a period web belt with a brass buckle. The khaki trousers retain an interior woven size tag reading W 31 L 33 and an inked waistband stamp reading 1537 / HOFFMANN. Overall, the Ike jacket is in clean, excellent condition with minor storage wrinkling and no visible moth damage, whereas the trousers display dark grease or ink stains along the lower left front thigh and shin area while remaining structurally sound throughout.
