Manufactured by Bannercraft Clothing Co., Inc. under Defense Supply Agency contract DSA-100-68-C-0891, this original U.S. Air Force enlisted service dress coat dates to 1968 and is constructed of a blue 60% polyester / 40% wool blend in accordance with MIL-C-27438C specifications. The four-pocket tunic features silver-finish U.S. Air Force buttons, shoulder epaulets, enlisted "U.S." collar insignia, a specialty qualification badge above the left breast pocket, and a three-ribbon service ribbon bar. The interior retains its original manufacturer's label with contract information and blank spaces for the original owner's name, rank, serial number, and organization. The coat remains in very good condition with light signs of wear, retaining its original insignia and presenting as an excellent example of a Vietnam War-era U.S. Air Force service uniform. Best for a 40" chest. SC
