Constructed from khaki wool flannel, this long-sleeve field shirt follows the regulation pattern issued to United States Army enlisted personnel during World War II. The shirt features two symmetrical chest pockets with buttoned flaps, a standard collar, and a button front closure. Shoulder seams rise to mild points in accordance with the military cut of the era. Visible on the inside of one cuff is a period handwritten laundry or service number in ink. The shirt lacks visible maker's tags but adheres to specifications in use from the early to mid-1940s. Minor signs of handling and storage visible; fabric appears structurally intact with buttons present. This garment reflects the standardized appearance required of U.S. military servicemen during the global conflict of the 1940s. Measures up to 44" chest (pit to pit) SC
