This original WWII German Heer Kradmantel is constructed of olive-drab rubberized cotton and was designed to provide weather protection for motorcycle dispatch riders and other troops operating in adverse conditions. The double-breasted coat features a large wraparound storm collar, an original matching rubberized waist belt with black-finished buckle, and the lower skirt buttons used to secure the coat around the legs while riding. Interior markings include a large "Gr. 1" size stamp and additional wartime acceptance markings, while the belt is ink stamped with the Pfengle-Effekt manufacturer's logo and size 1/53. The coat exhibits honest field use, including scattered surface wear, a puncture to one sleeve, minor staining, and age-related creasing, yet the rubberized material remains intact and the overall structure is well preserved. It is an excellent example of a specialized German military protective garment from the Second World War. SC
