This East German Nationale Volksarmee (NVA) M52 service tunic is constructed of field-gray wool in the early postwar German military style derived from the late-war Wehrmacht uniform pattern. Features include a matching collar with silver-gray collar litzen, pleated breast pockets, lower skirt pockets, and aluminum pebble-finish buttons. The interior is clearly stamped "NVA m.52-0" with a 1962 production date and additional size and depot markings. The original shoulder boards have been removed, leaving the attachment loops intact. The tunic remains in very good condition overall, exhibiting light storage wear and a small moth hole near one shoulder, with no significant staining or structural damage. Best for up to 42" chest.
