Cold War East German National People's Army (Nationale Volksarmee / NVA) service tunic constructed from stone-grey wool-gabardine fabric, featuring a classic four-pocket front and silver pebble-finish buttons. The collar displays silver-grey aluminum braid collar tabs (Kragenspiegel) reserved for officers and career NCOs. The sleeve cuffs feature French turnbacks accented with white branch piping (Waffenfarbe), identifying the branch of service as Motorized Infantry (Motorisierte Schützen). The collar retains its original East German military size ribbon marked k 44 (klein / chest size 44). This tunic reflects traditional Cold War NVA uniform design from the German Democratic Republic (GDR / DDR). The garment exhibits minor surface wear with small moth nips present at the shoulders, but remains structurally sound. Representing a tangible artifact of East German military history, this tunic offers a nice, complete example of NVA Cold War uniform development. GE
