This West German Bundes-Zivilschutz (Federal Civil Defense) service tunic is constructed of charcoal gray wool and features a five-button front with two pleated breast pockets secured by metal buttons and two lower slash pockets. The left sleeve bears the blue-and-white ZS (Zivilschutz) insignia, while the right sleeve displays the embroidered Kiel district patch, identifying regional assignment. The interior retains its original manufacturer's label marked "Pfennig & Hoppe GmbH," "Auftr. 45/68," "Bund-ZS," and size 56, indicating production under a federal civil defense contract. The tunic remains in very good condition with clean insignia, intact buttons, and only light wear consistent with careful service use. OT
