Winchester Model 12 Featherweight Pump-Action Shotgun – 12 Gauge, 28", Mod Choke, Mfg 1961 Description: Up for auction is a classic Winchester Model 12 "Featherweight" pump-action shotgun, chambered in 12 gauge with a 2¾" chamber. The barrel is clearly roll-stamped with "WINCHESTER — MODEL 12 — FEATHERWEIGHT — 12 GA. — 2¾ CHAM. — WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" along with a "MOD" (Modified choke) designation. Features & Details: Take-down style receiver with polished/blued steel finish Grooved, ribbed wood slide handle (pump/forearm) in good, solid condition Walnut-style straight/semi-pistol grip stock with visible checkered buttplate marked "Winchester Trade Mark" Brass bead front sight Exposed hammer with knurled takedown collar at the front of the magazine tube Trigger guard and action show honest handling wear consistent with age and use Condition: This shotgun shows clear signs of age and use, consistent with a vintage field gun. Notable condition points include: Moderate handling scratches and light surface wear across the stock, with some scuffs. A cloudy/hazy patch of finish wear on the right side of the receiver. Appears to have rubbed against something. The seller admittedly wiped some cold blue on the "hickey." Overall retained bluing on the barrel with light operational wear Wood-to-metal fit appears solid with no obvious cracks or major structural damage visible in photos
