Remington Wingmaster Model 870 Pump-Action Shotgun, 12 Gauge, 28", Mod Choke, Mfg December 1975 Offered here is a Remington Wingmaster Model 870 pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge for 2¾" shells. Barrel is roll-marked "Remington Arms Co., Inc. – Ilion, N.Y. – Made in U.S.A." along with the 12 GA / 2¾" chambering stamp. Features: Classic Remington 870 Wingmaster receiver with blued finish Walnut stock and forend with fleur-de-lis pattern checkering Brass/gold-tone grip cap and matching basketweave-pattern buttplate insert with white spacers Standard bead front sight, plain (non-ribbed) barrel Visible "REP" proof mark and additional inspector/proof stamps on the barrel and receiver Condition: The metal retains strong original bluing overall, with light operational handling wear and some scattered small scuffs/scratches consistent with age and use, most visible along the receiver flats and barrel. The walnut stock shows good color and grain with a few light surface scratches and dings, most notable on the buttstock, there is a small crack in each side of the stock near the receiver.
