Winchester Model 12 Heavy Duck Pump-Action Shotgun – 12 Gauge, Full Choke, 30", Mfg 1953 Description: Offered here is a Winchester Model 12 slide-action shotgun, chambered in 12 gauge with a 3" chamber and full choke, marked for use with Super Speed & Super-X ammunition. The barrel is clearly roll-marked "WINCHESTER — TRADE MARK — MODEL 12 – 12 GA – 3 IN. CHAM." along with "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL — NEW HAVEN CONN, U.S.A." and the Winchester proof mark. Features: Classic Winchester Model 12 "corn-cob" grooved slide handle in walnut Walnut buttstock with grip cap and a checkered composition (hard rubber/bakelite-style) buttplate, marked "WINCHESTER — TRADE MARK — MADE IN USA — PAT. JUNE 6 1922" Blued/steel receiver and barrel showing an aged, silvery-gray patina with visible handling marks, light surface scratching, and finish wear consistent with age and use Brass bead front sight Exposed hammer, checkered trigger Takedown-style barrel with visible lug and lock screw at the receiver junction Condition: This is a vintage firearm showing light wear typical of this era. The metal finish has thinned and grayed in areas (particularly on the receiver flats), with scattered handling marks, light scratches, and some pitting-free patina throughout. The wood stock and forend retain good structural integrity with a warm finish, showing some handling marks, minor dings, and finish wear/fading consistent with age. No cracks are visible in the wood. Stock appears to have been refinished at some point.
