Stevens Model 311A Side-by-Side Shotgun, 12 Gauge, 30", Pre-1968 Mfg Maker: Savage Arms Corp., Westfield, Mass. — Stevens Model 311A Gauge: 12 ga., 2¾" chamber Action: Boxlock double-barrel, double triggers, top lever break-open, tang safety Classic Stevens 311A double gun with vivid case-hardened colors remaining on the receiver and legible roll-marked lettering ("Selected Forged Steel," "Proof Tested 12 Gauge – 2¾ Inch Chamber," Model 311A stamp). Barrels show even bluing with expected finish wear and light handling marks; walnut stock and beavertail forend display good grain with a checkered buttplate and matching white-line spacers. Wood-to-metal fit is solid; action functions as a break-open double with double triggers. Condition: Good condition overall — strong case colors, moderate barrel wear, sound stock with slight cosmetic handling marks.
