This antique German bisque head doll by Simon & Halbig features the highly collectible 1039 mold, incised with "Germany 1039 DEP 9". The doll stands approximately 20 to 22 inches tall and showcases classic characteristics: beautifully modeled bisque face, open mouth with teeth, distinctive flirty eye mechanism, and pierced ears. The bisque condition is excellent with only light residue from the wig and no structural cracks at the stringing holes. The doll comes dressed in period chemise attire with shoes, includes original lower factory-pierced holes, and has had two patch repairs as well as a replaced leg pin. Eyes remain open when in sleep position.
