Signed & Dated 1961Turquoise Matte Glaze Hand-thrown studio pottery bowl signed & dated on the underside. Features a turquoise/aqua glaze w/ subtle variation over a red earthenware clay body. A great example of mid-century studio pottery by a noted artist with clean modernist lines. Measures: 7 inches diameterThe bowl is in good vintage condition. The interior glaze exhibits minor dark specks and small pits characteristic of the original firing process. The unglazed exterior and foot ring show minor surface wear and light soil accumulation consistent with age and typical handling. No chips, cracks, or professional repairs are visible.
