This vintage decorative landscape, titled Mountain Mist, is a large-scale textured print on board produced by the Turner Manufacturing Company of Chicago. The work is signed Wijmer in the lower-left corner, and a matching brass title plaque is affixed to the frame liner. The surface displays a uniform, mechanically-impressed texture throughout, designed to mimic the appearance of a canvas oil painting. Height: 30 inchesWidth: 54 inchesThe image surface displays several scuffs and small white marks. The frame shows multiple chips and significant losses to the gilding, particularly at the corners and edges. The paper backing on the reverse is torn and has been extensively repaired with adhesive tape.
