This maritime oil on canvas painting is signed v. Berk in the lower right corner. The work depicts a single-masted, gaff-rigged sailing vessel maneuvering through turbulent, dark green seas. Framed dimensions: 27.25 x 31.25 inches.The artwork is in overall good stable condition. There are minor surface abrasions and faint scuffs visible in the upper right section of the sky. The paint surface is stable, showing no major cracking, craquelure, or flaking. The frame and linen liner exhibit light wear and minor dust accumulation consistent with age and previous display.
