An upcycled side table constructed from a vintage Singer cast iron treadle sewing machine base. The base features characteristic openwork scrolling supports and a central cross-brace with the maker name SINGER cast in relief. It retains the original foot treadle and flywheel mechanism. The base is fitted with a rectangular solid wood slab top, featuring inset butterfly spline joints at the short edges. Dimensions: Height approx. 75 cm Width approx. 62 cm Depth approx. 42 cm (Measured against a visible tape measure). Condition: The cast iron base has been refurbished with a black finish and remains in good structural condition. The wooden top displays significant surface wear, including multiple scratches, water marks, and stains consistent with age and functional use.
