Architecture Providence RI Estate 18-Pc. This substantial 18-piece collection of original late 19th and early 20th-century cabinet card photographs and mounted estate prints offers an outstanding visual record of late-Victorian family portraiture and period architecture. Featuring studio portraits alongside real-photo views of Victorian homes, interior room decor, porch gatherings, and coastal landscape scenes, many pieces originate from prominent regional Rhode Island and New York photography studios including L.E. Bates and Horton Bros. of Providence, RI, as well as Pendleton of Brooklyn, NY. Various studio photographers, c. 1880s–1910s, silver gelatin and albumen prints mounted on embossed cardstock mounts, marked with printed studio logos and backstamps across several pieces, sizes range from standard Cabinet Cards (4.25 x 6.5 inches) up to large mounted landscape views (approx. 8 x 10 inches). Displays expected signs of age across the lot including varying degrees of image fading, surface toning, edge chipping, corner wear, and minor foxing, though subjects and architectural structures remain clear and legible overall; no major structural tears or severe water damage observed. See photos for close-up details.
