Canon Webster & Yelton 4x7. This original late 19th-century Western Americana photographic print captures a towering, dramatic rock pass along a dirt road, captioned in the negative "Box Canon, Cripple-Creek District" at the lower left and credited to regional photographers Webster & Yelton at the lower right. Originating from the famous Cripple Creek gold mining region of Colorado, this vintage albumen print displays exceptional depth, rich sepia-toned contrast, and detailed rock formations, making it a desirable piece for collectors of Colorado mining history, Western expansion, and early American landscape photography. Photographed by Webster & Yelton (Cripple Creek, CO), c. 1890s, original albumen/silver gelatin print on paper, titled and credited in the lower negative margin, measures approximately 4 x 7 inches. Condition is Good to Very Good antique condition; displays expected light surface edge wear, slight corner curling at the lower right, and a small tape remnant with minor edge abrasion along the top center border, though the primary image remains remarkably crisp, rich in tone, and free of major tears or heavy creases. See photos for close-up details.
