AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Measuring 60" x 40", vintage woven throw by Mystic Valley Traders, an American luxury home furnishings and bedding company founded in 1984. The sewn label identifies the piece as PURE NEW WOOL, WOVEN IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, with dry cleaning recommended. This is a notably substantial textile, weighing 2-1/2 lbs, woven in a handsome blue and cream palette with a repeating geometric checkerboard arrangement. Alternating squares feature small cross, diamond, lattice and grid-like motifs, creating a traditional woven pattern with strong visual rhythm across the entire surface. Finished with contrasting fringe at the ends. The pattern and color combination give the piece a distinctly traditional country, English-country, cottagecore and heritage textile character, while the dense wool construction provides considerable weight, texture and warmth. Mystic Valley Traders became known for higher-end coordinated bedding and home textile collections, including coverlets, shams, decorative pillows, duvet covers and other luxury furnishings.
