AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Vintage Mooroombah Pakflat Australian handcrafted brown suede leather bush hat, size M, styled in the classic outback/cowboy form with a high rounded crown, wide shaped brim and turned-up side profile. Constructed in soft brown suede leather with stitched brim edging, two metal ventilation eyelets to the front of the crown and a contrasting braided suede hatband encircling the base. The flexible Pakflat construction is designed to allow the hat to be packed or flattened for travel and then reshaped for wear, a practical feature associated with traditional Australian bush hats. Interior bears the original Mooroombah Pakflat Australian maker’s stamp with map of Australia and size designation M. The hat displays the rugged western/outback styling associated with Australian bushwear and is well suited for ranch, riding, outdoor, western fashion or vintage hat collections. A distinctive Australian-made suede leather hat with strong visual character and period appeal. CONDITION REPORT > Clean overall with little evidence of wear. Suede remains presentable with no obvious heavy soiling. Hat is somewhat crumpled and misshapen from storage or the flexible Pakflat construction, though this may be consistent with the style and intended packable nature of the hat.
