AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Collection of 14 vintage decorative placemats, each measuring an around 17" x 12", consisting of two groups of seven. Seven placemats feature an abstract wine and still-life composition with bottle, goblets, fruit and table setting rendered in rich earth tones, greens, blues and deep reds. Each is signed Susan within the artwork. These are printed to one side only. Seven placemats feature the Eastern Bluebird design by wildlife artist Chuck Ripper, depicting a bluebird perched beside a weathered wooden fence post with morning glories and foliage. The white side includes the printed artist identification and title Eastern Bluebird. The reverse features a smaller bird motif against a woven-type background. The Chuck Ripper Eastern Bluebird design was produced for AmericaMark during the early 1970s and reflects the decorative wildlife and nature imagery popular in period kitchen and tabletop accessories. Together, the two contrasting sets offer a strong retro 1970s decorative group pairing wildlife illustration with colorful modern still-life artwork.
