LOCAL PICKUP ONLY ~ SEE VIDEO > A Coleman Powermate PRO-GEN 5000 gasoline-powered portable generator mounted in a heavy tubular steel frame with large pneumatic-style transport wheels and folding pull handle. The unit features a top-mounted fuel tank, recoil-start engine and front control panel with multiple household-style receptacles plus a larger twist-lock outlet for higher-demand equipment. The front panel is prominently marked PRO-GEN 5000 and includes four standard 120-volt outlets arranged in two pairs, circuit protection/reset controls and a larger locking receptacle. The generator is built around a substantial open-frame design intended for jobsite, workshop, farm, emergency backup and general portable power use. Rear and side views show the generator head, engine assembly, fuel tank, muffler, air-cleaner housing and wheeled frame construction. The engine is recoil started and fitted with manual fuel and choke controls. Large treaded wheels and the integrated folding handle allow easier movement despite the unit’s considerable weight. A rugged older Coleman Powermate portable generator with the heavier construction typical of earlier PRO-GEN models, well suited for utility use, storm preparedness, shop equipment or backup power applications.
