LOCAL PICKUP ONLY ~ SEE VIDEO > A tested, inspected and serviced STIHL BR 200 gasoline-powered backpack leaf blower, a compact lightweight model designed for clearing leaves, grass clippings, hedge debris and general yard waste across larger residential or light commercial areas. Introduced by STIHL in 2011, the BR 200 combines a backpack-mounted engine unit with padded support harness, flexible pleated hose, tube-mounted control handle, rigid blower tube and straight round nozzle. STIHL specifically marketed this model toward serious homeowners wanting backpack-blower performance without the additional size and weight associated with larger professional units. Powered by a 27.2cc / 1.66 cu. in. gasoline engine rated at 1.10 bhp. Factory specifications list air volume at 406 CFM with the blower tube installed, 471 CFM without the tube, air velocity originally rated at 132 MPH, 35.5 oz. fuel capacity and machine weight of 12.6 lbs. STIHL's current specifications rate the BR 200 at 400 CFM through the round nozzle, maximum air velocity of 150.3 MPH and blowing force of 12 N. Features include STIHL anti-vibration mounting designed to reduce engine vibration transferred to the operator, adjustable shoulder harness for distributing weight across the shoulders and back, padded back support, lightweight corrosion-resistant polymer housing and a multifunction tube-mounted operating handle allowing single-handed throttle control. The control assembly includes throttle trigger and setting lever, while the engine housing incorporates recoil starter, choke control, manual fuel pump, air-filter access and screw-type fuel cap. Finished in STIHL orange, off-white and black with BR 200 model badge to the engine cover and molded STIHL branding to the housing and blower tube.
