AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Group of assorted vintage salt and pepper shakers and grinders in wood, pewter, ceramic, acrylic and glass, including examples by Raimond Pewter Italy and William Bounds. 1 > Turned wood salt shaker and pepper grinder, each standing 6" tall, formed in matching warm-toned hardwood with bulbous bodies and rounded tops. No maker marks located. Fair condition from prior use and storage. 2 > Raimond Pewter Italy salt shaker and twist pepper grinder, a compact coordinating pair in traditional pewter with short pedestal forms. Raimond was known for decorative Italian-made pewter tableware and bar accessories during the later 20th century / NOTE > The Raimond pewter pair is in rather poor condition from long-term storage, with rust present to the pepper grinder mechanism. 3 > White ceramic pottery cannonball-style shaker, formed as a smooth spherical body raised on a small pedestal foot, with decorative gold-tone cord accent. No issues noted. 4 > William Bounds clear acrylic pepper grinder, identified by the WmB initials to the chrome metal neck band. William Bounds, founded by designer Bill Bounds, became particularly known for innovative pepper mills using a crushing mechanism rather than conventional grinding blades, with clear acrylic and chrome among the company’s recognizable later 20th-century designs. 5 > Slender clear glass shaker with tapered fluted body and fitted chrome metal dome top, suitable for salt, pepper or other finely ground seasonings. The varied group combines traditional wood and pewter tableware with mid-century and later decorative forms, including the clear acrylic styling associated with William Bounds kitchen accessories. CONDITION REPORT > As discovered, not cleaned or altered. Wood pair remains in fair condition ~ Issues noted to the Raimond pewter pair ~ Bill Bounds grinder is nicely preserved ~ Others present no overt issues.
