AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Group of six assorted vintage glass, milk glass and pottery bottles and advertising pieces, the tallest standing 10" tall, including New Orleans advertising glassware, Fire-King milk glass, an antique medicine bottle, an early pint milk bottle and decorative olive oil pottery. 1 > Pat O'Brien's New Orleans hurricane glass, tall clear stemmed form with green advertising reading Pat O'Brien's ~ NEW ORLEANS, LA. Pat O'Brien's is closely associated with the New Orleans Hurricane cocktail, and tall souvenir hurricane glasses of this form have long been sold and used by the famed French Quarter establishment. 2 > Antique one-pint clear glass milk bottle, embossed near the base REGISTERED SEALED 1-11-14 ~ ONE PINT LIQUID. The 1-11-14 registered seal is strongly associated with Thatcher Manufacturing Company milk bottles and reflects standardized dairy-container markings used during the early 20th century. 3 > Antique rectangular clear glass medicine bottle, tall narrow form with squared shoulders, recessed rectangular body panels and narrow neck, typical of early pharmacy and medicinal bottle forms. 4 > Pottery olive oil bottle, white glazed body decorated with a hand-painted raised olive branch bearing black olives and green leaves, with script reading Huile d'Olive to the front. 5 > Fire-King milk glass souvenir mug, handle turned to the rear in the photograph to display the green transfer decoration reading OAKLEY HOUSE ~ AUDUBON STATE COMMEMORATIVE AREA, LA. Underside carries the classic F Fire-King logo. 6 > Square-body clear glass bottle, standing 10" tall, with broad shoulders and pronounced horizontal ribbing encircling the lower body. The molded geometric form gives the bottle a distinctly mid-century decorative and utility-glass character. The group offers a varied cross-section of American advertising, dairy, pharmacy and household wares, with particular Louisiana interest represented by Pat O'Brien's New Orleans, Oakley House at Audubon State Commemorative Area, and the early milk bottle. CONDITION REPORT > As discovered, not cleaned or altered ~ Expect varying elements relative to age, use and materials.
