AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Offered as a mixed grouping of vintage and contemporary costume jewelry, including several distinctive pendant necklaces and a celestial themed bead bracelet. Included are ~ REED & BARTON cast pewter seashell pendant necklace, the reverse marked R&B PEWTER P 518 ~ large Southwestern style silver tone pendant necklace set with -5- turquoise colored cabochons and finished with multiple hanging chain fringes ~ blue enamel five point star pendant necklace accented with applied silver tone stars ~ beaded bracelet combining earth tone, amber and mottled beads with raised sun and moon face charms. The Reed & Barton shell represents the most notable signed piece in the grouping. Reed & Barton was established in Taunton, Massachusetts in 1824 and became a prominent American producer of pewter, silverplate, sterling silver and decorative metalware. Vintage Reed & Barton pewter jewelry, particularly figural and natural form pendants from the later 20th century, remains actively collected. Comparable Southwestern style turquoise colored cabochon fringe necklaces are widely associated with vintage bohemian and Western fashion jewelry, while celestial sun, moon and star motifs have remained popular in both vintage and artisan jewelry designs.
