One Lee Precision Factory Crimp Die for 25-06 Remington, part number 90836 on the box end, packed in the original red box with the factory instruction sheet. This is the collet style rifle crimp die that Lee is known for. Four hardened fingers close on the case mouth from the outside and roll a firm crimp into the bullet no matter how the case is trimmed, which means a handloader can crimp cases of slightly different lengths and still get the same hold. A good crimp matters on a 25-06 loaded for elk and deer country because it keeps bullets from moving under recoil in the magazine and it makes powder burn more uniform from shot to shot. The die works on any single stage or turret press and does not need to be set by feel like a seater with a built in roll crimp. Condition is excellent with bright steel, clean threads and no rust. The red box is intact with light shelf wear, the instruction sheet is present and the caliber label is clean and readable. Estimated Value: $15 to $25 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
