Lee 270 WSM 2 Die Set 90572 with Shell Holder

A Lee reloading die set for the 270 Winchester Short Magnum, item 90572, in the red Lee flip top box. The set is two dies, being the full length sizing and decapping die and the bullet seating die, with the shell holder and the printed Lee instruction sheet. A die body is stamped 270 WSM. The 270 WSM is the short, fat magnum that gets 270 Weatherby velocity out of a short action rifle, driving 130 to 150 grain .277 bullets fast and flat for deer, antelope and elk. It burns a stout charge in a small package, so handloaders work carefully and want dies that size the case body back to standard every time. A full length sizer is the right tool for hunting ammunition, because a round has to chamber in a cold rifle on a cold morning without a fight. Dies are clean with light surface oil and normal handling marks, threads and lock rings are intact and no rust or galling is visible in the photos. Condition is very good.
