Collection of handmade Southwestern folk-art cloth dolls and figures featuring a woman riding a textile horse, a male figure, a woman holding an infant, a small bundled baby figure, and a larger seated blanket-wrapped woman. The horse-and-rider figure measures approximately 8.5" tall x 8" long x 3" wide and is constructed from coarse woven fabric with yarn mane and tail, button eyes, bridle, and textile tack; the rider wears a colorful woven top and floral-print skirt. Other figures feature hand-drawn or painted facial details, yarn hair, handmade clothing, beadwork, miniature jewelry, and layered textiles. The substantial seated woman is approximately 4" thick and wears a colorful Southwestern-style blanket over a burgundy garment with decorative embroidery and long braided yarn hair; the underside appears hand-signed, though the signature is difficult to decipher from the photos. Vintage handmade condition with visible fabric wear, loose/fraying threads, fading, staining, and other age-related wear. Exact makers, ages, and cultural or tribal affiliations have not been independently verified. An appealing group of Southwestern textile folk art, Native American-style dolls, handmade cloth figures, and vintage regional collectibles. See photos for details and condition.
