Pair of hand-carved and hand-painted wooden Southwestern Pueblo-style figures, one signed on the underside “O’Hagan, Ojo Caliente, New Mexico.” The larger figure measures approximately 7" tall and 2.5" deep x 4" wide at the ears, featuring a white mask with prominent projecting ears and a circular blue-and-red mouth, yellow and natural-toned body, painted geometric details, and articulated-looking carved arms and legs. The smaller green-masked figure measures approximately 5" tall and 2" deep x 3.75" wide at the ears, with projecting red ears, fiber detail at the top of the head, and a cylindrical body decorated in white, red, yellow, green, and black. Both show surface wear, paint loss, rubbing, and other signs of age and display. Exact age, cultural affiliation, and ceremonial figure identities have not been independently verified; cataloged conservatively as Southwestern Pueblo-style folk art. See photos for details and condition.
