This collection consists of five technical reference books and manuals focused on various aspects of industrial, mechanical, and thermal engineering. The group includes a blue publisher's cloth hardcover titled Trane Air Conditioning Manual and a dark textured cloth hardcover titled Principles and Practice of Flow Meter Engineering by Foxboro. Softbound volumes include Fuel Burning and Steam Generation by Otto de Lorenzi, published by Combustion Engineering Corporation, Limited in Montreal; a spiral-bound manual titled Rigging featuring a crane illustration; and Hamilton's Gear Book, noted as the Second Edition, Third Thousand. The gear book was published by the Hamilton Gear and Machine Co. of Toronto, with a 1921 Canadian copyright by Chester B. Hamilton, Jr. It features the American Gear Manufacturers Association (ACMA) logo and contains technical diagrams for gear proportions, spoked spur gears, and keyseat dimensions. Ownership marks include the handwritten name David Blakely on the gear book cover and H. E. Rudling on the rigging manual. Dimensions: Tallest volumes H approx. 28.6 cm (measured against a visible ruler). Condition: The collection shows wear consistent with reference use in a technical environment. Hardcover volumes exhibit shelf wear, scuffing, and bumping to corners. Hamilton's Gear Book has a black tape-reinforced spine and surface staining to the covers. Fuel Burning and Steam Generation shows dampstaining or foxing to the lower portion of the front wrapper. The spiral-bound manual shows edge wear and light toning to the paper. Interior pages throughout the collection show age-appropriate toning.
