This group consists of four volumes encompassing history, fiction, and industrial reference. The first is a hardcover edition of Century of Conflict: The Struggle Between the French and British in Colonial America by Joseph Lister Rutledge, published by Doubleday as Volume Two of the Canadian History Series, edited by Thomas B. Costain. It is accompanied by its original dust jacket. The second is a large red cloth-bound volume titled Betz Handbook of Industrial Water Conditioning, featuring gilt-stamped lettering on the front board.
