A vintage portable solid state phonograph manufactured by Canadian General Electric in Toronto, Canada. The unit is housed in a red textured plastic casing featuring an integrated carrying handle and molded clips on the rear for power cord storage. The interior turntable deck is finished in off-white plastic and includes a selector switch for four speeds: 16, 33, 45, and 78 RPM. User controls include analog tone and volume knobs located on the top speaker grille, and a toggle-style power switch on the deck. The interior lid is molded with manufacturer information for the General Electric Audio Products Department in Decatur, Illinois, and includes a label specifying 120 volts, 30 watts, and 60 hertz requirements. Condition: The unit is in fair vintage condition. The exterior plastic casing shows visible scuffs and scratches throughout, with a notable crack on the rear right corner near the base.
