Mid-century Nordmende “Othello 56” 3D tabletop tube radio, made in Germany, housed in a substantial high-gloss wood cabinet with rounded corners, fine gilt accent lines, a patterned fabric speaker grille, and applied “3D” and “Othello” emblems. The glass tuning dial displays numerous European station names and bands including longwave, medium wave, shortwave, and UKW/FM, with dual large tuning/control knobs and a row of ivory push-button selectors beneath. The rear panel is marked Nordmende Othello 56, 220V ~ 55W, and factory number 604887, and includes the original printed tube-layout diagram and voltage-selector information. The cabinet shows scattered surface scratches, rubbing, finish wear, and age-related marks, while the grille cloth, trim, knobs, and dial face remain visually presentable. Not tested.
