Collection of 5 vintage embossed Georgia license and official identification plates, comprising one green “GOVERNOR’S STAFF” plate together with four Georgia “Peach State” automobile plates dated 1967, 1969, and 1970. The group includes a 1967 red-on-white plate numbered 79-E-38, a 1969 white-on-black plate numbered 79-A/T-211, and two 1970 white-on-blue plates numbered 79-586 and 79-D-539. Georgia’s official plate color records confirm red on white for 1967, white on black for 1969, and white on blue for 1970. The Governor’s Staff plate is an especially interesting political and state-government collectible, distinguished by its green ground and large white embossed lettering. All five show age-related wear including scratches, dents, bends, paint loss, oxidation, staining and mounting-hole wear consistent with prior use and display. Measure 3.75"H x 12.25"W to 6"H x 12.25"W.
