Finely modeled portrait bust depicting George Washington in formal late-18th-century dress, with carefully rendered facial features, tied-back hair, high cravat, waistcoat, and broad lapels. The bust is finished in a warm bronze tone and mounted on a turned white marble pedestal over a square marble plinth, giving the piece a substantial neoclassical presentation. The underside retains its original foil label reading “Authentic Reproductions Copyrighted by Alva Museum Replicas, Inc., Alva Studios, New York, N.Y.” The sculpture appears to be one of Alva Studios’ museum reproduction portrait works, produced during the mid-20th century after historic sculptural models. Condition is good overall with light surface wear, minor rubbing to the finish, and scattered discoloration, scratches, and minor edge wear to the marble consistent with age and display. Measures 12.25"H x 7.5"W x 4.25"D.
